GEG’s MICRONAUTS began as a series of toys based on a Japanese toy line called “Microman” and went on to become one of the most successful toy lines of all time.

MICRONAUTS premiered as the number one action figure and continued to best every other line of action figures throughout its production from 1976 through 1981 and sold $300 Million (over $750M in current us dollars) in merchandise world-wide (excluding Japan).

Over its nearly nine year span of publication, MICRONAUTS was Marvel’s most successful comic series based on an original toy line selling over 10 Million comics, second only to the X-Men in sales during the 1980’s. AGE has packaged and sold the Micronauts brand to HASBRO in a deal spanning film, toys, TV and merchandising.

With over 1 million google links, the MICRONAUTS legacy continues with the feature franchise now in development under the stewardship of bad robot’s producer/director J.J. Abrams and Paramount Pictures and Zombieland and GI Joe : Retaliation writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese helming the big screen adaptation of the Micronauts mega-brand.
